He highlighted that Türkiye has provided refuge to various communities, including the Circassian, Tatarian, Gagauzian, Albanian, Pomak, Bosniak, Turkmen, Meskhetian, Uzbek, and Uyghur.
President Erdoğan emphasized Türkiye's commitment to its citizens, stating: “Wherever we have a citizen, we are there.”
He underlined the importance of embracing countries with shared histories, languages, religions, and cultures.
The establishment of the Organization of Turkic States was highlighted as a means to strengthen ties with Turkic Republics. President Erdoğan proudly mentioned the liberation of Karabakh in collaboration with Azerbaijan, after 30 years of occupation.
Stating that they have restored the ancestors' heirlooms and revived the martyrs' cemeteries through TİKA and the General Directorate of Foundations, President Erdogan noted the following:
“Through the efforts of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), the Yunus Emre Institute, and the Maarif Foundation, we have protected our language, history, and civilizational values. Through Turkish Airlines, Anadolu Agency, and TRT, we have strengthened our human and commercial ties. Through the Red Crescent, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), and non-governmental organizations, we have come to the aid of our brothers and sisters in times of need. We were the first to respond to the flood disaster in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the earthquake in Albania. After a century of longing, we have recaptured the hearts of Evlad-ı Fatihan (Children of Conquerors) as a result of these efforts, which we have been pursuing continuously for the past 21 years. With Allah's permission, we will continue to protect the trust of the late Alija after the 28th of May.” (ILKHA)
