Around 52 million of eligible voters participated in the elections to select the 500-seat House of Representatives for the next four years.

The voting period lasted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, and approximately 52 million people were eligible to cast their votes.

Early data released by the election commission shows that the center-right MFP has made significant gains, leading in 115 constituency seats and 38 party list seats.

The counting process is still ongoing. The Pheu Thai Party is currently in second place, leading in 111 constituency seats and 30 party list races. (ILKHA)
