Addressing citizens in the Ümraniye district of Istanbul, Erdoğan said: “The Century of Türkiye will be the century of our children, our youth, our women; in other words, it will be the century of our entire nation, which is the addressee of our love letter.”

Stressing that every deed and action they make is guided by their love for the nation, Erdoğan pointed out: “We have penned a love letter for our country. With the freedom ambition in our hearts and the future goals in our minds, we have penned a love letter for every individual of our nation without any distinction of origin or religion.”

“We have penned a love letter for our youth which will sometimes fill their eyes with tears and will sometimes make them smile; a love letter which will inspire their dreams and will guide their goals,” the President said. “All the nice words one can come up with while weaving this letter stitch by stitch have turned out to be insufficient for us. Therefore, we have built invisible bridges from hearts to hearts. We have built bridges of love that go beyond every kind of differences and hug all our people. We have built bridges of affection that go beyond our country’s borders and embrace the whole world.”

Noting that they have now reached a historic day when the obstacles in front of the Century of Türkiye are overcome, seeds blossom, dreams come true, and a step is taken into the future, Erdoğan added: “The Century of Türkiye will be the century of our children, our youth, our women; in other words, it will be the century of our entire nation, which is the addressee of our love letter.” (ILKHA)
