The Ministry conveyed their deep sadness over the loss of over 100 lives in the Western and Northern Provinces of Rwanda.
Ankara also expressed their condolences and solidarity to the families of those affected by the disaster, as well as to the people and Government of Rwanda.
On Tuesday, heavy rainfall in Rwanda resulted in floods and landslides which claimed the lives of at least 127 individuals in the Western, Northern, and Southern Provinces, according to a statement from the president's office.
The statement added that rescue efforts are currently underway in the most impacted districts to ensure the safety of citizens at risk. (ILKHA)
