Ishak Sağlam denounces armed attack on HÜDA PAR election stand in Mersin

Ishak Sağlam, the Deputy Chairman of HÜDA PAR, took to Twitter to denounce an armed attack on his party's election stand in Mersin.

In his message, he accused those who orchestrated the attack of trying to uproot his party and warned that they would not be sacrificial lambs, despite their patience.

He also noted that he knew who was behind the attack and called for the swift apprehension and punishment of those responsible.

On Monday, a group of unidentified individuals armed with guns and sticks assaulted members of the HÜDA PAR Mersin Provincial Youth Branch who were staffing an election campaign stand for AK Party Mersin Deputy Candidate Faruk Dinç.

The attackers wounded several young people, including members of the HÜDA PAR Youth Branch named B.K, Y.O., and Ş.E. After the assault, the attackers fled into side streets.

According to reports, the attackers also discharged firearms during the attack, although no one was injured by the gunfire. (ILKHA)
