The Ministry expressed their condemnation of the attack and stated that it is unacceptable to allow such incidents to occur under the guise of freedom of expression.

The Danish Ambassador in Ankara was summoned to the Ministry to be informed of Türkiye's stance on the issue.

The Ministry pledged to continue their efforts in multilateral and bilateral platforms to combat hate crimes, which are examples of xenophobia and Islamophobia that are on the rise in Europe.

The Ministry also criticized Denmark's insensitive attitude towards the issue and called for the Danish government to take deterrent measures to prevent such provocations during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Ministry emphasized that the discomfort of billions of Muslims around the world must be taken into account. (ILKHA)
