The foundation arranged rallies in numerous cities across Turkey, such as Istanbul and Diyarbakir, following the Friday prayers.
The aim was to draw attention to the Palestinian cause as the primary concern of the Islamic world and prompt others to recall the suffering of the oppressed nation.
In Diyarbakir, a multitude of individuals, including women and children, congregated in front of the Grand Mosque (Ulu Camii) after Friday prayer, expressing their indignation towards the methodical killings of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, in addition to the assaults on Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionist occupying regime.
The assembly vehemently denounced the Israeli "barbarous" assaults, chanting slogans such as 'Israel, the murderer of babies, children, and women', 'Allah o Akbar', 'Free Palestine', 'Zionists are murderers', 'Palestine is the rightful property of Palestinians', and 'We will triumph for Palestine'.
Menaf Adiyaman, a representative of the Prophet's Lovers Foundation, delivered a press statement on behalf of the foundation.
The full text of the press release is as follows:
“IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST BENEFICENT, THE MOST MERCIFUL
Praise be to Allah the Lord of all worlds. Peace and blessings be upon our honorable Prophet Muhammad.
“Glorified be He Who took His servant for a Journey by Night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, the neighborhood whereof We have blessed, in order that We might show him of Our Ayat. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.”
(Surah Al-Isra Ayat 1)
UMMAH WILL SAVE QUDS (JERUSALEM) AND AL AQSA MOSQUE TOGETHER!
WE WILL RETAKE JERUSALEM TOGETHER!
We have gathered here today, on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, to observe "World Quds Day." As long as Quds remains under occupation and the Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to physical attacks by Zionist barbarians, we will continue to speak out and demand freedom for this sacred city, which holds a special place in Islam as its first Qibla. We firmly believe that this occupation will not endure much longer, and that the day when the Islamic Ummah will gather in free Jerusalem is fast approaching.
We know that a great struggle must be made to bring the distant closer. This struggle is not solely a burden that should be put on the shoulders of Palestinian Muslims. A struggle in which all Muslims will come together on the common ground of Quds will open the door to the freedom of the city. The reason why the occupation has continued until today is that the ummah has not shown a joint resistance on a single front. If every Muslim pours a bucket of water, the zionist occupation regime will be flooded and destroyed.
We have spent a century in which we have weakened due to detachment from Islam intellectually, prioritizing national interests, and internal conflicts. We should be able to see our losses and not lose another century, because every moment that passes works against the Islamic ummah. It must now be understood that a strong unity is essential to bring the distant closer and to liberate Quds from occupation.
A powerful alliance among Muslims is a terrifying prospect for the Zionist regime. The only way to prevent Zionism from expanding its occupation and making it permanent, using our disunity to its advantage, is by creating a strong Islamic unity. Treating the zionist occupation as an illegitimate entity should be the first step towards achieving this unity. The "normalization" processes imposed on Muslim countries will not only harm the Islamic Ummah, but also empower the occupation regime, leading to more killings and massacres and emboldening their crimes. Recent events have made this all too clear.
Muslims are martyred, and Al Aqsa Mosque is attacked almost on daily basis in Palestine. The oppression against Palestinians is intensifying, leading to more detentions and increased pressure. Muslim prisoners in the dungeons of the occupation regime are subjected to various forms of mistreatment. With hundreds of women and children imprisoned in Palestine, our Muslim brothers are eagerly anticipating tangible support from the Ummah, in addition to their prayers.
It is a great responsibility for all of us to end the problems that exist in the Islamic world, to eliminate conflicts, to ensure our unity, and to make Muslims honorable and the disbelievers and hypocrites humiliated. The greatest responsibility in this regard falls on the leaders of Islamic countries. Otherwise, we will be held responsible on the Day of Judgement for every drop of blood spilled in Quds.
From here, we want to address not only Islamic countries but also international organizations. The scourge of zionism is not a calamity that has been impacting only to Muslims. The ultimate aim of zionism is to enslave an entire humanity. This cursed group, who consider themselves a superior race, wants to condemn the whole world to chaos. Zionism, which feeds on chaos, is the only source of the great problems, wars and conflicts across the world. O Muslims! How long will we remain silent in the face of this fact? If the fire around Palestinian Muslims is not extinguished today, it will envelop the entire Ummah.
We would like to emphasize once again that we support every step taken for the freedom of Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Regardless of the cost, we will fight for the liberation of Quds and Al Aqsa Mosque, the first Qibla of Muslims. We firmly believe that the nightmares of the occupying Zionists will come true one day. We know with certainty that the struggle for the freedom of Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque will eventually triumph because it is the promise of Allah the Almighty. No doubt, surely, Allah’s Promise is true.” (ILKHA)
