In a statement, officials from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan expressed their gratitude for the humanitarian aid provided by the government of Kazakhstan and requested its continuation during these difficult times.
The ambassador of Kazakhstan in Kabul also confirmed that his country will continue to provide additional aid to Afghanistan.
An official from the Ministry of Natural Disaster Management, Mawlavi Abdullah Mohammadi, appreciated the humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan and called on other nations and organizations to provide assistance to victims of natural disasters in Afghanistan.
The food aid, which includes flour, cooking oil, milk, and beans, has already arrived at the Hairatan port, and 46 additional shipments are expected to arrive by Thursday. (ILKHA)
