“We continue to establish container cities to meet the housing needs of our citizens in the provinces affected by the earthquake without interruption,” the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) said on Twitter.
AFAD indicated that a total of 21,622 containers had been installed in Malatya, including 18,896 containers in 36 different locations in the city center and 2,726 containers in 21 different locations in the districts.
“We express our gratitude to all our institutions, non-governmental organizations, all employees, and every member of our esteemed nation for their support,” it added. (ILKHA)
