Addressing a symposium held on Friday by Muslim scholars to discuss the zionist aggression against the Aqsa Mosque, Mishaal called on the Muslim scholars to urge the Ummah to rise up in defense of the Aqsa Mosque.
The Hamas leader underlined that the zionist occupation entity’s worst politicians want to win the battle over Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque after they came to power because the holy city is at the core of their aggressive Zionist project.
He stressed the need for the Muslim scholars to state that the Palestinian struggle is a battle of religion and faith — “not because we fight the Zionists for their religion, but because of their crimes and aggression.” (ILKHA)
