In a press statement on Friday, the Movement said that the shooting operation constitutes a natural response to the latest israeli crimes in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Lebanon, and Gaza Strip.

“Al-Aqsa will always be a place of worship for Muslims only,” the Movement asserted, adding that Palestinians will be united while defending the holy site against the israeli desecration.

For his part, the spokesman of Hamas for Occupied Jerusalem, Muhammad Hamadeh, hailed the bravery of the Palestinian resistance fighters who carried out the shooting operation, adding that such operations reflect that the Palestinian resistance is ready to respond to the Zionist attacks against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Hamadeh stressed that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line, affirming that the continued israeli attacks against Muslim worshippers at the holy site will not go unpunished.

On Friday morning, two Jewish settlers were killed during a shooting attack in the occupied Jordan Valley. The shooter managed to flee the scene while zionist army reinforcements were sent to the area and started looking for the suspect. (ILKHA)
