The organization has reached earthquake-affected people with urgently needed food assistance following the deadly earthquakes that struck along the border between Türkiye and Syria on February 6.
Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding their humanitarian aid activities in earthquake-stricken areas, Turan Polat Altun, the representative of European Orphan Hand in Germany, said: “Today is the 55th day of the earthquake, almost two months have passed since the earthquake. We have been on the field as the European Orphan Hand since the first day of the earthquake. We have been carrying out our aid activities in coordination with the Hope Caravan. Today, we are giving an iftar dinner to earthquake victims in Adıyaman. We want philanthropists to multiply their charity. Because earthquake victims live in a very difficult situation here. There was a great earthquake in our country. Many people died; the children left behind became orphans. We should protect the orphans.” (ILKHA)
