Meteorology authority warns citizens of heavy rainfall, storm in Marmara region

General Directorate of Meteorology on Tuesday warned citizens about expected strong storms and possible downpours in Türkiye’s northwestern Marmara Region.

The directorate issued a storm, sleet, and frost warning for the Marmara Region, which was under the influence of cold and rainy weather.

Authorities warned against problems due to the possible storm such as falling trees and poles, roofs blowing off, and disruptions in transportation. (ILKHA)
