Following the decree, HÜDA PAR Secretary General, Şehzade Demir, made a press statement at HÜDA PAR Headquarters, announcing his party’s roadmap for the election.
Demir said: " The President has just announced his candidacy. It was the official announcement as the Presidential candidate of the People's Alliance. We hope it will be beneficial for our country, nation, and society. As you know, the election process has started and the official calendar has started. On the other hand, we experienced a severe earthquake disaster, the wounds of which we still cannot heal. On the one hand, that pain still remains in its place. Together we are struggling to heal the pain of the earthquake. At this point, despite the reality that we are not at the point we want yet, it has been entered on the election surface as a necessity. We hope that this election process will be beneficial for our country, our nation, and the Islamic world.”
"HÜDA PAR General Administrative Board will meet in Diyarbakır"
Giving information about what HÜDA PAR will do in the election, Demir said: "First of all, a lot of questions are asked about what HÜDA PAR will do. Our President Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu has made statements in this direction many times before. There is currently an ongoing process. Honestly, we will announce our decision soon, but it's too early to say it's finished. In this sense, we are heading toward the end. We don't think there is a problem either. But it's not finished yet. HÜDA PAR General Administrative Board meeting will be held in Diyarbakır today. In this meeting, the subject of the election, the negotiations, and the point reached will be discussed and evaluated. Maybe then Chairman Yapıcıoğlu can make a statement. As it will be remembered, Yapıcıoğlu had previously stated in a couple of television programs, 'We will not name a presidential candidate'. I hope these issues will be discussed in detail at the meeting. But everyone should be sure of this. We try to do what is good for our country. Turkey has very serious needs and problems. We are trying to take a decision by considering all the general interests of the country. May Allah Almighty turn our decision for the good of our country and nation.” (ILKHA)
