The accident happened at about 11 pm on Sunday when the truck veered into the bus’ lane to avoid colliding with another vehicle parked on the road near Kintampo, a town in the Bono East Region in central Ghana, local sources said.
Eyewitnesses said 21 people were killed on the spot and another passenger died in hospital later.
An investigation has been launched into the accident, local officials confirmed. (ILKHA)
