A humanitarian aid campaign that was launched by Hope Caravan Foundation, European Orphan Hand, Orphans Foundation, and IHO EBRAR to aid people who were affected by the deadly earthquake in southern Türkiye and northern Syria continues in full swing.
The volunteers for Hope Caravan Foundation are providing psychological support to children who had to take shelter in the tent city in the Iskenderun district of Hatay province after the disastrous earthquake.
“As Hope Caravan, we started humanitarian aid activities on the second day of the earthquake. We provided hot meals to earthquake victims. Today, we wanted to distribute the toys, balloons, chocolate, and popcorn given by the benefactors to the children and make them happy,” Necip Öner, the representative of Hope Caravan in Hatay, told Ilke News Agency.
“With such activities, we aimed to make the children affected by the earthquake happy. It is not easy to erase the effects of the earthquake. We will continue to do such work,” he added. (ILKHA)
