The meeting was also attended by members of the Council and Religious Affairs.
During the meeting, Sheikh Dr. Ali al-Qaradaghi expressed his condolences to the Turkish people and offered the support of the Union in reconstruction efforts and aid to those affected in Turkey and Syria.
He emphasized the importance of scholars taking a leading role in comprehensive development efforts, not just within mosques.
The meeting also discussed enhancing cooperation between the International Union of Muslim Scholars and the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
Later in the evening, Sheikh Dr. Ali al-Qaradaghi visited the Islamic Thought Institute, led by Professor Muhammad Gormaz, where plans for the visit and achieving its success were discussed. (ILKHA)
