At least 10 people killed in mine explosion in Hama, Syria

At least 10 people were killed and 12 others injured in two landmine explosions on the outskirts of Salamiyah in the eastern countryside of Hama Governorate in western Syria, local sources reported.

Nine people died and two others were wounded and taken to Salamiyah Public Hospital following a landmine explosion while searching for truffles in the village of al-Mestriha in the eastern countryside of Salamiyah.

One person died, and ten others sustained different injuries while collecting truffles when another landmine exploded east of the city. (ILKHA)
