“Allah, the Almighty, is the protector of the Quran. Through these actions, they are merely revealing the defects in their own character,” Erdoğan said.
The event, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, was followed by the singing of the national anthem and the MPs’ greeting remarks.
Expressing gratitude for the interest shown in the people’s meeting in the Netherlands, Erdoğan, revealed that he had addressed a massive crowd at the Extended Provincial Advisory Council meeting in Denizli province earlier that day.
Erdoğan added: “I believe you are currently experiencing the enthusiasm for May 14. On May 14, you will deliver vital messages not just to our nation but also to the entire world.”
Erdoğan extended his greetings from Türkiye to all those on duty preparing for the election, stating, "As your President, I would like to offer you my most heartfelt greetings for the devotion, involvement, faith, and determination you have shown on this journey."
Erdoğan condemned recent attacks on the Quran in several European countries, stating, "Allah, the Almighty, is the protector of the Quran. They are merely revealing the defects in their own character. Those who chose to protect the Torah are disrespectful of the Quran. We will continue on our journey with resolve. May the 14th of May yield auspicious results in advance."
