“An individual injured several people this morning at the Gare du Nord. He was quickly neutralized. Thank you to the police for their effective and courageous response,” Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin wrote on Twitter.

According to a police source, at least six people were injured in the attack.

The Gare du Nord is one of the seven large mainline railway station termini in Paris.

The station accommodates the trains that run between the capital and northern France via the Paris–Lille railway, as well as to international destinations in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. (ILKHA)
