Turkish central bank's forex reserves down $1.1 billion to $128.4 billion

As of December 23, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 2 billion 657 million dollars to 82 billion 938 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 85 billion 595 million dollars on December 16th.

Meanwhile, the bank’s gold reserves increased by 1 billion 574 million dollars from 43 billion 916 million dollars to 45 billion 490 million dollars during the same period.

Thus, the Central Bank's total reserves decreased from 129 billion 511 million dollars to 128 billion 429 million dollars as of December 23, with a decrease of 1 billion 82 million dollars compared to the previous week. (ILKHA)
