The party’s founders and officials, NGO representatives, academics, members of the press, and numerous invitees attended the event, which was held by HÜDA PAR Headquarters at Sezai Karakoç Culture Center in Yenişehir district.
Speaking at the event, Aynur Sülün, the head of the HÜDA PAR women’s branch, drew attention to the importance of the family to the future of society.
On the one hand, the activities aiming to devalue the family gain momentum, on the other hand, they freely hold propaganda campaigns to legitimize perverted relations. Standing up against the western countries that see in themselves the right to redesign the family by defaming it is a responsibility imposed on us by our humanity, our faith, and especially by being a mother. Therefore, it is a necessity to get rid of the law which was taken from Western countries. For example, the Istanbul Convention, which was signed under the pretext of supposedly protecting women, increased the number of divorces, violence against women, and the femicide rate in Turkey. They are trying to normalize perverted relations under the name of ‘gender equality’. The bitter fruit of the convention, from which Turkey pulled out after understanding its harm, is still continuing to affect society. The domestic legal regulations made according to this convention should be reviewed and sorted out. These regulations, which consider only the woman's statement as essential with the claim of preventing violence, do not give men a say and are prepared with feminist jargon, do not protect the family, but rather destroy it. The removal of fathers from their homes on baseless accusations is one of the biggest blows to a person's reputation and personality. With practices such as this one, the problems between the spouses that can be solved easily grow like a mountain, and the spouses who have spent years together are turned into enemies.
“We call on the government officials and say, ‘If you want to protect the family, reduce divorces and increase marriage rates, first start by amending the law no. 6284’
“In a family, the mother’s labor is priceless. Thanks to the pricelessness of this labor, heaven is laid under the feet of mothers. Due to wrong family policies, mothers’ labor is devalued and mothers are encouraged to participate in working life with various projects. One of these projects is the 'Here is the Mother ' project, which was launched in 2018. With this project, the perception that the ideal mother is the mother who works outside and leaves her children to the caregiver is created in society. However, pedagogically, the period between the ages of 0-6 is the period when the child needs the mother the most. The formation of a person's personality and moral development is possible with the mother's attention, education, and upbringing at a young age. Mothers should be able to take care of their own children and the financial support given only to working mothers by the government should also be given to non-working mothers. At the same time, we want the government to reward the women that have been married for 25 years and have devoted all their efforts to their homes and children with a pension.”
“The protection of the family is of vital importance in securing our future”
Today, most of our young people cannot get married due to financial difficulties. Some of our young people have to delay their marriages until old age due to years of school life and unemployment. Therefore, young people who want to get married during their school life should be supported by the government. A fund should be established to help young people who want to get married. The protection of the family is of vital importance in securing our future. All steps to protect the family are important, and valuable and should be supported. A constitutional amendment to guarantee the right to wear headscarves for women is an appropriate and valuable step and should be supported.” (ILKHA)
