Soylu said that they had a productive meeting with the Bulgarian delegation, adding that it had been the 13th meeting between the two countries’ Interior Ministers in the last 15 months.
“Ankara and Sofia have been working together for a long time, especially on migrant smuggling, human smuggling, and border security to stop the irregular migration flow and to prevent it. We have a common agreement to exchange information and to continue the same efforts without pause in this respect, ,” Soylu said at a news conference with his Bulgarian counterpart Ivan Demerdzhiev in Istanbul.
