The largest expenditure amount was spent on tertiary education by public institutions

Public institutions spent 35.6% of their total education expenditure for tertiary education, and 22.3% of the total for upper secondary education. The 39.5% of education expenditure spent by private institutions was for tertiary education and 34.4% for upper secondary education.
