A HAKSIAD delegation led by Fikri Karavil met with Sheikh Hamdullah Nomani, the acting minister of Housing and Urban Development, in Kabul.
HAKSIAD delegation expressed their readiness to help the Afghan people in their efforts to reconstruct the country where the urban order has been destroyed because of many years of conflict and occupation.
HAKSIAD members, who have worked in the field of houses and buildings in Turkey, want to work in the field of the development of houses and buildings in Afghanistan using their experience.
“First of all, the construction of the Dar Al-Eytam (house of orphans) complex will be started, which will include a masjid, a special place for professional education, a teaching building, a dormitory, a health clinic, a playground and other facilities for children,” Karavil said.
For his part, Sheikh Hamdullah Nomani said that “the ministry has provided the delegation with investment opportunities and will also discuss with other ministries the works of HAKSIAD so that related matters can be developed quickly and investment opportunities are provided to them.”
“First, we will work on an agreement in which the responsibilities of both sides will be clarified. After signing, each side will fulfill its responsibility,” Nomani added.
During the meeting, Iqbal Mirzadeh, President of Kabul New Town, provided information to the HAKSIAD delegation about the town.
Mirzadeh underlined that all the works of the first phase of this town had been completed and it was ready for any kind of further investment. (ILKHA)
