The exercise, called Vigilant Storm, is involving 240 combat aircraft, including advanced low-observable F-35 fighter-bombers with stealth technology.
It is the largest military air exercise since the “Vigilant Ace” drill was carried out in late 2017 with more than 200 military planes participating.
The exercise comes after North Korea launched another ballistic missile just as South Korea was about to wrap up its annual 12-day Hoguk field training exercise. (ILKHA)
