“As part of the visit, the 8th meeting of the Türkiye-Qatar Supreme Strategic Committee will be held in Istanbul on October 14, 2022 under the co-chairmanship of President Erdoğan and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim,” Turkish presidency said in a statement.
The statement noted that “all aspects of the Türkiye-Qatar relations and potential steps aimed at deepening and advancing the bilateral cooperation will be discussed at the Strategic Committee Meeting, which will be held with the participation of relevant ministers.”
“It is also expected at the talks that views on current regional and global matters as well as the bilateral relations will exchanged with Qatar, Türkiye’s strategic partner,” the statement added. (ILKHA)
