“This cowardly assassination operation reflects a state of panic taking over the occupation state after the daily failure that has hit its security system throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem due to the escalation of resistance operations,” Hamas said in a statement on Monday.
“Today’s Zionist crime cannot be seen as separate from our people’s daily exposure to different crimes, raids, arrests, growing settlement expansion and Judaization activities in Jerusalem and at the Aqsa Mosque,” the Movement said.
Hamas emphasized the need for a unified Palestinian position against such Israeli crimes and the launch of all-out resistance against the occupation and its schemes.
Two Palestinian young men were shot dead at dawn Monday by the ZOF in an assassination operation near al-Jalazon refugee camp in northern Ramallah.
According to local sources, israeli soldiers opened fire at a car boarded by three young men in at-Tarbiya wa at-Ta’leem suburb near Ramallah, killing two of them and wounding a third one.
Palestinian security sources identified the two martyrs as Basel Basbous and Khaled ad-Dabbas from al-Jalazon refugee camp and the third one, who suffered bullet injuries, as Salama Ra’fat from Birzeit town. (ILKHA)
