“Tens of thousands of Rohingya Muslims have become refugees due to the attacks of the cruel Myanmar government, and they continue their lives in need of help. The recent military coup in Myanmar has worsened the situation in the region, making it difficult for Muslims to return to their homes. The safe return of Rohingya Muslims should be ensured, and their life and property should be protected,” said Serkan Ramanlı, a spokesman for HÜDA PAR.
“Nuclear war will lead to disaster”
Stating that the war between Russia and Ukraine, which has been going on for 7 months, continues to be devastating for all parties, Ramanlı said that the statements made by Russian President Putin last week indicated that the war would enter a new phase.
Ramanlı said: “Putin declared that they would use nuclear weapons if necessary to protect their lands by declaring partial mobilization, and declared a referendum to be held on September 23-27 for the annexation of the occupied territories in Ukraine to Russia. The regions where the referendum decision was taken belong to Ukraine according to international law. Such a referendum would make the problem even more intractable.”
Noting that this war, although it seems like a war between Russia and Ukraine, is mostly between Russia, the USA and the Western world, Ramanlı said: "The confrontation of countries with nuclear weapons and the use of these weapons will be a disaster for our region and humanity. As a matter of fact, the Hiroshima and Nagasaki massacres remain in memory. For this reason, we invite the warring parties to act with a sense of responsibility towards humanity, not with the ambition of achieving their imperialist goals.” (ILKHA)
