The followers of İstanbul were Ankara with 9 thousand 736 house sales and İzmir with 6 thousand 395 house sales with the share of 7.9% and 5.2% respectively. The provinces with the lowest number of sales were Hakkari with 41, Ardahan with 63 and Bayburt with 101 house sales.
Houses sales increased by 17.7% in January-August 2022
In January-August period, house sales increased by 17.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 943 thousand 791.
Mortgaged house sales became 22 thousand 168
In Türkiye, mortgaged house sales decreased by 19.0% in August compared to the same month of the previous year and became 22 thousand 168. Mortgaged house sales had 18.0% share of all house sales. In January-August period, mortgaged house sales increased by 39.1% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 211 thousand 631.
6 thousand 654 of mortgaged house sales in August and 55 thousand 348 of mortgaged house sales in January-August period were first hand sales.
Other house sales became 101 thousand 323

In January-August period, other house sales increased by 12.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 732 thousand 160.

First time sales had 31.6% share of all house sales in Türkiye. In Türkiye, second hand house sales decreased by 14.5% in August compared to the same month of the previous year and became 84 thousand 466. Second hand sales had 68.4% share of all house sales in Türkiye. In January-August period, second hand house sales increased by 19.5% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 667 thousand 627.
In August, 5 thousand 273 houses were sold to foreigners
House sales to foreigners decreased by 10.1% in August compared to the same month of the previous year and became 5 thousand 273. House sales to foreigners had 4.3% share of all house sales in August. Antalya ranked first with a thousand 814 sales to foreigners. The followers of Antalya were İstanbul with a thousand 750 house sales and Mersin with 317 house sales to foreigners.
In January-August period, house sales to foreigners increased by 44.6% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 44 thousand 595.
House sales were mostly made to Russia citizens according to nationalities
In August, Russia citizens bought a thousand 238 houses from Türkiye. The followers of Russia citizens were Iran citizens with 633 house sales and Iraq citizens with 417 house sales. (ILKHA)
