The number of incidents involving juveniles received into security unit was 499 thousand 319 in 2021 with an increase by 10.8% as compared to 2020.

In these incidents 207 thousand 999 of juveniles as victims, 132 thousand 943 pushed into crime (for allegedly committing an act defined as a crime in the law), 70 thousand 905 as witnesses, 67 thousand 518 as with the allegation of committing a misdemeanor, 19 thousand 277 as lost (found) and 677 of them received into the security units for other reasons other than these reasons.

36.6% of the juveniles pushed into crime were involved in assault

Juveniles received into security unit were involved 132 thousand 943 incidents due to pushed into crime. 36.6% of these juveniles were charged with assault, 27.2% of these juveniles were charged with theft, 5.1% with use, sale and purchase of drugs, 4.3% with threat and 3.8% with sexual offences.

41.7% of the juveniles received to the security units were victimized juveniles

In total of 207 thousand 999 juveniles received as victims into security unit; 89.4% of juveniles were victims of crime and 10.6% of juveniles were victims of followed incident. The 57.4% of 186 thousand 14 juvenile victims of crime were victims of assault, 13.1% of them were victims of sexual offences, 12.4% of them were victims of offences against family order, 4.5% of them were threats and 12.6% were victims for other reasons other than these reasons.
