The organization, which aids orphans and the needy across the World, is continuing its relief efforts in Africa, distributing food parcels and clothes, building mosques and freshwater wells, and carrying out projects that aim to help the disabled.
The organization distributed food parcels and hot meals to thousands of families living in internally displaced persons camp in Bujumbura, the largest city of Burundi.
Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding their relief efforts in Burundi, Ömer Polat, a volunteer for European Orphan Hand, said: “With the help from philanthropists in Europe, we have distributed hot meals and food parcels to 1,500 families here. Two years ago, there was a major flood in a place 2 kilometers away. People who had been forced to temporarily leave their homes due to flooding are currently struggling to survive in IDPs camp. May Allah be pleased with our donors.” (ILKHA)
