The suspected attacker was shot by a zionist police officer and is in moderate condition.

Images reportedly from the scene showed police standing near a settler lying on the ground. Zionist police and medics were at the scene.

Hebrew media sources claimed that an israeli settler, in his 40s, was stabbed in the head by a Palestinian man near the Ramot Junction in Occupied Jerusalem.

The suspected stabber was taken to a hospital, where he was listed as being in moderate condition, police said.

A spokesperson for the Hamas Movement, Hazem Qassem, said the stabbing was an “act of heroism,” adding that it was a “natural response to the occupation's crimes against the holy places of Islam and Christianity in Jerusalem.”

“The attack once again emphasizes the failure of attempts to stop the resistance in the occupied West Bank and the city of Jerusalem,” he added. (ILKHA)
