According to local sources in al-Khalil, settlers from the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba assaulted citizens in Jabber neighborhood, prompting the latter to try to defend themselves and homes.

Later, zionist soldiers intervened and showered the local residents with tear gas to secure the settlers’ withdrawal from the area.

The ZOF also detained and interrogated 17-year-old Ameer Jabber after raiding his home in Jabber neighborhood.

In a separate incident, the ZOF forced a Palestinian child to take off his shirt after intercepting the car he was aboard at the entrance of Beit Fajjar town in Bethlehem at the pretext that there was a weapon image printed on it. A Palestinian flag was also confiscated from the same car.

In Nablus, the ZOF stormed on Saturday the archeological area in Sebastia village in northern Nablus for the third consecutive time within 24 hours as part of ongoing Israeli efforts to seize the area and claim it as a Jewish heritage site.

Media sources said that the ZOF showered Palestinian homes with tear gas near the historical site in Sebastia during clashes with local youths.

In Qalqilya, the ZOF quelled the weekly anti-settlement march of Kafr Qaddum village and clashed with local youths. (ILKHA)
