According to the statement, Ukraine’s forces destroyed 1,330 Russian tanks, 207 aircraft, 174 helicopters, and 3,358 armored carriers.
The statement said that Ukrainian forces had destroyed 628 Russian artillery systems.
According to the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), more than 4,000 Ukrainian civilians were killed in Russian attacks.
“Most of the civilian casualties recorded were caused by the use of explosive weapons with a wide impact area, including shelling from heavy artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, and missile and airstrikes,” OHCHR said.
The agency noted that it believes that the actual figures are considerably higher, as the receipt of information from some locations where intense hostilities have been going on has been delayed and many reports are still pending corroboration.
UN refugee agency said that more than 6.7 million Ukrainians had been forced to leave their country since Russian aggression began. (ILKHA)
