Hamadeh stressed that the Palestinian masses are required to converge on the holy Islamic site to thwart the schemes of the zionist occupation and to escalate confrontations with the occupation forces at all flashpoints.

He affirmed in a statement on Monday that the resistance is ready to respond to the occupation at any time.

The Saif al-Quds (Jerusalem Sword) battle has made it clear to the zionist occupation authority (ZOA) that Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line, and “this is a fixed rule that will not change,” Hamadeh added.

The Hamas spokesman stressed that the Palestinian people will not allow any infringement on Al-Aqsa Mosque and will confront the "march of flags", and will not allow the ZOA to impose a new fait accompli on Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Senior rabbis had issued a unified call for breaking into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, May 29, to mark the so-called Jerusalem Day or the reunification of Jerusalem (the occupation of East Jerusalem). (ILKHA)
