The Movement's spokesman, Jihad Taha, said, in a statement on Sunday, that the decision is a new crime against the basic human rights and international laws, which guarantee freedom of movement and travel.

He stressed that the decision is a "desperate attempt to obscure the voice of our people and the role of its symbols in defending Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa."

Taha added that the measure further aims at blocking any attempt to expose the zionist regime’s crimes against the Palestinian people.

He said that israeli fears the unveiling of the suffering of Jerusalemites and Al-Aqsa worshippers and the repeated violations of Israel and its settlers to the public opinion.

Zionist occupation authorities at Lod Airport prevented Sheikh Raed Salah from traveling to Turkey, under false allegations without any legal justification, on Saturday.

Sheikh Raed Salah said that he checked before traveling his official personal website and found that there was no prohibition order against his travel.

He added: "After our bags were checked at the airport, and we were about to take tickets to go to the plane, suddenly some airport security workers came, and said we want to search the bags, and after searching them, they told me that you are banned from traveling.” (ILKHA)
