The organization, which engages in a great deal of charity works such as the construction of mosques and freshwater wells and the delivery of food, clothes, and blankets to the people in need across the world, is continuing relief efforts in Africa during Ramadan, the month of fasting in Islam.
The organization, which had before delivered food assistance and iftar meal in N'Djamena, Chad’s capital, distributed food parcels and the meat of sacrificed animals to hundreds of needy people in Chari-Baguirmi, one of the 23 regions of the nation.
It also handed out many copies of the Holy Quran to the students who are taking Quran classes.
Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding their charitable efforts in Chad, Yunus Yıldırım, a member of the board of the International Help Organization (IHO EBRAR), said: “With the beginning of Ramadan month, we have accelerated our charitable efforts in Chad. By courtesy of benefactors, we provided food packages and the meat of sacrificed animals to many families. We provided iftar meals to 600 people. We also handed out many copies of Holy Quran to the students who are taking Quran classes.”
Yıldırım also expressed his gratitude to the benefactors for their donations. (ILKHA)
