Earlier, a large number of zionist troops carried out raids in Ya’bad town, south of Jenin, and kidnaped at least nine young men from their homes.
Eyewitnesses said that several soldiers on foot and others aboard vehicles entered the town through different entrances, while other military reinforcements were dispatched to the nearby Dotan checkpoint.
During the ZOF campaign in Ya’bad, resistance fighters opened fire at the soldiers and dozens of local youths hurled stones and bottles at them, amid sounds of sporadic heavy gunfire. Four young men were reportedly injured during the events.
The ZOF also stormed areas in northern Tulkarem, northern Nablus and Balata refugee camp and kidnaped three young men.
In Jericho, two young men were kidnaped and four others were injured by live ammunition following a ZOF campaign in Aqabat Jabr refugee camp.
