Hamas called the incident “an act of heroism” and “a natural and legitimate reaction to the escalated terrorism and crimes of the occupation against our land, people, and holy sites."
“We had repeatedly warned the occupation against its escalated crimes and violations. Our people will never stand idly and will confront this terrorism in all possible ways,” the Movement said.
“The Tel Aviv operation is a natural response to the israeli crimes against our people and their holy sites,” Hamas official Mushir al-Masri said.
"This is also a swift response to the shameful summit that was held in the south," he added, referring to the Negev Summit, in which zionist regime hosted a number of Arab foreign ministers.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad also praised the attack, saying “the resistance to the occupation will continue with all the force."
The Tel Aviv operation emphasizes the unity of the Palestinian people wherever they live, the group added.
The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, the armed wing of Fatah, also welcomed the attack as “a natural response to the crimes of the occupation.”
For its part, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said that the attack affirms the Palestinians' adherence to the resistance option.
Earlier Tuesday, five zionist occupiers, including a policeman, were reportedly killed in a shooting operation in a suburb of Tel Aviv, in the third such incident in 1948 occupied Palestine within days.
Tuesday's operation comes a few days after two similar incidents in Beersheba and Hadera, which left a total of six Israelis killed, including two police officers. All the shooters were killed.
The attacks are seen as in response to escalated Israeli demolition and repression policy pursued against the Palestinians. (ILKHA)
