The delegation will hold talks on commercial diplomacy and bilateral economic relations in Washington and New York.

Commercial diplomacy events will be held throughout the U.S. in support of the goal of 100 billion dollars in bilateral commerce between Türkiye and the U.S. by the Directorate of Communications in coordination with the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM).

President of the Investment Office of the Presidency Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, Chief Advisor to the Presidency and Member of the Economic Policies Council Cemil Ertem and Turkish Parliamentary’s Chairman of Committee on Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information, and Technology Chairman, AK Party Konya Deputy Ziya Altunyaldız, TİM Deputy Chairman Başaran Bayrak, TIM Brand Council Vice-Chairman Süleyman Orakçıoğlu, TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and business people will attend the visit, which will address Türkiye-USA relations, new horizons in economic cooperation and potential economic cooperation areas.

The delegation will meet with Turkish and American businesspeople and visit the U.S. Departments of State and Commerce and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The delegation, which will hold talks on increasing commercial relations between the U.S. and Türkiye at the Atlantic Council think tank, will also meet with members of the American and international press.

Panels and commercial diplomacy workshops will be held as part of the program to increase Türkiye’s role in transatlantic exports. Panels titled “Joining Forces for Prosperity: Türkiye-The U.S. Relations” and “Turkish-American Efforts for New Horizons: Trade Goal of $100 Billion” will be held at Türkevi Centre in New York.

The four-day program, co-organized by the Directorate of Communications and TIM, is expected to have a positive impact on the dynamics of Türkiye- U.S. commercial relations. (ILKHA)
