ITTIHADUL ULEMA Chairman Molla Enver Kılıçarslan, Egyptian Community Islamic Authorities Dr. Tarık Zumer and former Jordanian Parliamentarian Prof Dr Saud Abu Mahfuz spoke to Ilke News Agency regarding what has got to be done in order to liberate Quds from zionist occupation.
Mullah Enver Kılıçarslan, Chairman of İTTİHADUL ULEMA, who started his speech with praise of Allah, salutations and salaams to our Prophet, said that the issue of Jerusalem is a Qur'anic and prophetic issue for Muslims, where Jews cause strife and kill prophets and innocents, violate human rights.
Reminding that it is stated in the Qur'an that the israelites will cause mischief on earth twice, and that those who disbelieve among the Israelites are cursed by David and Jesus Christ, Kılıçarslan stated that the Jews should not be made friends, if it is a rule that is fixed in the verse.
“Muslims are obligated to defend Jerusalem with their wealth, lives and all their means.”
Kılıçarslan said: “Love for Jerusalem was present in the hearts of all Muslims in the east and west, and it gained even more ground after it was occupied by the Jews. For this reason, the Palestinian cause became the primary concern of the Ummah, over which the Muslims trembled, protected and fought for. Jerusalem is the property of all Muslims, not just Palestinians. Palestinians alone cannot determine the future of Jerusalem. On the contrary, all Muslims must fulfill their duty to defend Jerusalem. It is obligatory for all Muslims to defend Al-Quds with their wealth, lives and all the means at their disposal. As in past centuries, when the Crusaders occupied Jerusalem, those who struggled to liberate Jerusalem were non-Arab Muslims such as Imaduddin EZ-Zengi et-Turki and his son, Martyr Nureddin Mahmud. SalaheddinAyyubi al-Kurdi, a student of Imaduddin, who liberated Quds from Crusaders’ occupation, was also a non-Arab Muslim. I pray to Allah to liberate Jerusalem with our hands and the Muslims of this age, and to protect us, our families, and all Muslims from the evil of the Jews.”
“Those who want to increase their dignity should work for Jerusalem”
Noting that the resurgence of Islam depends on Jerusalem, one of the officials of the Egypt Al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya, Dr. Tariq ez-Zumer said: “Some may be surprised by the extreme importance that the Islamic world gives to Jerusalem in emotion, consciousness and mind. However, the truth is that anyone who knows that Jerusalem is the second universal address of Islam will not condemn this situation and will not be surprised. In fact, the revival of Islam today is directly proportional to the liberation of Jerusalem. For this, all Islamic movements and all Muslims who want to appreciate their role and increase their prestige! Now is the time to intensify your studies on Jerusalem.”
“Salaheddin, the sword of Islam, conquered Jerusalem by defeating France and the crusaders in the Battle of Hattin”
Giving information about the cruelty of the Crusaders and the conquest of Jerusalem by Saladin, former Jordanian Parliamentarian Prof. Dr. Saud Abu Mahfouz also said:
“The month we are in is the month of Rajab. It is the month of Jihad, Isra and Miraj. It is the month when the Kurds liberated Palestine starting from Hattin. Kurds and other Muslim tribes took refuge in Masjid al-Aqsa during Ramadan and traveled there. Those who wanted asceticism and worship would come to Masjid al-Aqsa to stay in the halls of Masjid al-Aqsa and to perform the worship of ribat. However, the Crusaders massacred all the people of Jerusalem on 15 July 1099, until there was not a single person left. They slaughtered the murabids (the Masjid al-Aqsa guards), ascetics and worshipers who took shelter in Masjid al-Aqsa, whose number was around 5 thousand, and slaughtered them like sheep. No one survived except a thousand people, led by Fakih Şirazi, who were in the Silsile Dome. According to Will Durant, the crusaders dragged the children and infants away one by one and threw them all over the wall after putting their heads on spears. Allah Almighty granted the ummah the hero and mujahid Saladin al-Kurdi, who fought 74 wars to recapture the Masjid al-Aqsa and the blessed rock. One man stood against all of Europe. The cry of time, the miracle of space and the sword of Islam, Saladin entered the Masjid al-Aqsa victoriously on October 2, 1187, after defeating France, the Franks and the crusaders in the Battle of Hattin. There are still Kurds in all the villages and cities of Palestine. There are more than 72 Kurdish tribes there. O people of Jerusalem, my brothers! You have brothers in Turkey and Kurdistan who take care of you and respond to your love with love and to your loyalty with loyalty.” (ILKHA)
