“President of Russia Putin signed a decree on conscription in 2022 of citizens of the Russian Federation who are in reserve to undergo military training in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, state security agencies, and the Federal Security Service,” the document published on the official Russian portal of legal information said.

Meanwhile, Russian-backed separatist leaders in Donetsk and Luhansk signed general mobilization decrees amid growing tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
