South Korea: 4 people killed in petrochemical plant blast

Four workers were killed and four others injured on Friday in an explosion at a Yeochun NCC petrochemical plant in the South Korean city of Yeosu.

The accident took place at 9:26 a.m. at the Yeochun NCC Co. factory in Yeosu, about 320 km south of Seoul, according to local reports.

Emergency services believe the blast occurred during a testing of the factory's heat exchange system.

Officials have launched an investigation into the incident. (ILKHA)
