First snowfall of the season turns much of Diyarbakir white

Diyarbakir, one of the largest cities in the Kurdish region of Turkey, was looking particularly scenic with its white winter coat.

Snow and cold weather impacted all transportation networks of the city starting from the afternoon.

The snowfall will continue over the next hours of the day, according to the Turkish State Meteorological Service. (ILKHA)
