“According to the "European Anti-Islamic Report 2020", anti-Islamism continued to spread on the social media platforms during the Coronavirus pandemic. There has been an increase in hate crimes committed over the Internet. In Germany, 901 Islamophobic crimes were recorded in 2020,” HÜDA PAR said in its weekly statement on the external agenda.
“The anti-Islamic rhetoric and practices of political rulers led to the increase of attacks and the normalization of anti-Islamism. In many European countries, Muslims' basic religious freedoms were restricted and their right to worship was denied. The fascist rulers who aim to eradicate Islam from Europe are primarily responsible for the attacks against Muslims in the West.”
HÜDA PAR went on to say: “While the freedom of Muslims living in European countries with their religious identities is being restricted day by day, the Islamic world did not stand against the anti-Islamic policies of some European countries and acted together with the politicians who led the way in Islamophobia. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation must take action against the attacks, which are increasing day by day, and the rights and freedoms of Muslims must be guaranteed. Muslims should have the freedom to freely practice their religious beliefs all over the world, and preventive practices should be met with deterrent sanctions.”
“Terror regime ‘israel’ must be stopped”
Noting that the zionist occupation regime continues its expansion and oppression by ignoring international law and the red lines of Muslims, HÜDA PAR said: “There are 4550 Palestinian prisoners, 500 of whom are administrative prisoners, 150 children and 40 women, in the Zionist dungeons. The occupying regime resorts to barbaric practices against 11 mothers and 40 female captives. It tortures and oppresses women with methods such as removing their headscarves and using tear gas. On the other hand, a zionist cabinet meeting was held in the Mevo Hama settlement of the Golan Heights, which is Syrian territory but has been occupied since 1967. At this meeting, it was decided to allocate a budget of 317 million dollars for the development of the Golan Heights, to build new occupied settlements and to double the Jewish population there.”
Touching upon the airstrikes of zionist regime against Syrian targets, HÜDA PAR said: “Along with all this, the persecution network also carried out an airstrike on the port of Latakia, another region of Syria. These barbaric attacks, brutality and recklessness must not be accepted under any circumstances. The fact that the Zionist regime gets away with what it does makes him even more furious. We invite the UN and other international institutions and organizations, especially Muslim peoples, to take action and take effective steps against the oppression and occupation.” (ILKHA)
