Wishing that 2022’s first meeting of provincial heads would lead to auspicious outcomes, Erdoğan said: “As the world is shaken by a healthcare crisis sparked by the pandemic and a subsequent economic crisis, Turkey has sped up its march towards its goals. We have set the priority of our economic leadership as investment, employment, production, exportation, and current account surplus-oriented growth. That we closed 2021 with an export volume of over $225 billion shows that we are advancing on the right path. The capacities are uninterruptedly increased, the factories are expanded and new investments are made in the organized industrial zones all across our country. We have increased our employment by 2 million people compared to the pre-pandemic period.” (ILKHA)
