Super Typhoon Rai caused severe and widespread damage throughout the Southern Philippines, killing at least 112.
The typhoon has caused at least ₱25 billion ($501 million) worth of damage across the Philippines.
Over 130,000 people were moved to higher ground after the typhoon hit the country's south-eastern islands.
The Philippine President, Rodrigo Duterte, visited affected areas days after the storm hit.
“We are trying to raise the money, I was also late because I was talking with the budget, you know our budget has been depleted immensely because of the COVID, we really spent our money,” Duterte said.
Recovery funds up to ₱2 billion ($40 million) were promised by the national government for the affected areas of the storm. (ILKHA)
