A rise in general index was realized in CPI (2003=100) on the previous month by 3.51%, on December of the previous year by 19.82%, on same month of the previous year by 21.31% and on the twelve months moving averages basis by 17.71% in November 2021, according to the statement.
Compared to general CPI, lower annual change observed in 7 main groups while 5 main groups were higher
The lowest annual increase was 5.77% in communication. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco with 7.91%, clothing and footwear with 8.33% and recreation and culture with 13.96%, were the other main groups where low annual increases realized. On the other hand, hotels, cafes and restaurants with 28.90%, food and non-alcoholic beverages with 27.11% and furnishings and household equipment with 25.14% were the main groups where high annual increases realized.

Alcoholic beverages and tobacco with 0.03%, education with 0.08% and communication with 0.58% were the main groups that indicated lowest monthly increase. On the other hand, transportation with 6.31%, miscellaneous goods and services with 5.36%, and hotels, cafes and restaurants with 4.10% were the main groups where high monthly increases realized.
In November 2021, within average prices of 415 items in the index, the average prices of 34 items decreased and the average prices of 36 items remained unchanged while the average prices of 345 items increased.
