Most of those detained children were released later, but there are still 160 of them being held in three jails — Ramon, Damon and Megiddo, according to a statement released by the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) on World Children’s Day, November 20.
Two-thirds of those children were exposed to maltreatment and different forms of psychological and physical torture during and after their arrest, PPS said. (ILKHA)
